Is it not that the left and right in politics are merely reflections of the perfect expression of the left and right hand of God? And imperfect reflections at that! 

For neither is any better than the other and both are needed for they complement each other. They are to be seen in the life of the Church as graciously expressed through the two seemingly polarized but none-the-less complementary camps of action/works and contemplation/faith. 

As St Paul says faith without works is dead just as works on their own without faith to inspire and love as the cornerstone, are as good as nothing. 

Therefore, let’s embrace all the charisms of these two very important & complementary apostolic wings of our Holy Mother Church and refrain from bickering over them as though one can be had without the other because God does not give up either one in favour of the other as He uses both hands to build His Kingdom. We need to follow this example for it is in following God’s own leading that we enter more fully into the reality of the salvation He has laid out for us.
